Great experience at this new hotel, just a short walk from the main centre of Málaga. Stayed for 3 nights in a standard room which was very spacious with a comfortable bed and AMAZING shower. Whole place is finished to a very high standard and the staff are very friendly and helpful. On the lower ground floor they have free lockers to store your luggage. All in all a great stay here and wouldn't hesitate to return.

For the money this place is quite good. The rooms are spacious and nice. They are in good condition at check in. The check in time was around 16:00(keep in mind if your flight arrives early). It's about 30 minutes walk or 7 car ride to Playa Malagueta and the historical centre. The Playa de Huelin is a lot closer and it's a lot nicer to swim in and a lot quieter than the main beach.

We had a wonderful stay at this modern, newly renovated hotel. The lobby is bright and welcoming, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our visit. There are luggage lockers on site free to use for guests. The rooms feature fantastic showers and the location is perfect, just a few minute walk from the train station and a short walk to the main city attractions. The rooms were on the smaller side, and mostly clean.

A design hotel with great staff but a few growing pains I booked Sonder through the Marriott Bonvoy app, even though it was clear from the listing that the photos were AI-generated. I was pleasantly surprised that the room looked almost exactly like the design in the pictures. The crew was very friendly and welcoming, but since they’re just starting out, they don’t have much experience yet, and several things in the hotel aren’t fully functional. Right upon arrival, I had to deal with an unexpected hold on my account for almost three times the cost of my stay. This was never communicated beforehand, and even the hotel didn’t know why it happened. The payment issue lasted throughout my stay, but fortunately, it was resolved in the end — and I want to sincerely thank Joan for personally helping to sort it out. We were the first guests in our room, and yet the toilet flush was already not working, and the TV didn’t offer Chromecast — which is something you’d expect from a hotel of this quality. The staff acknowledged these issues but said there was nothing they could do about them at the moment. What’s unusual is that despite dealing with one issue after another during my entire stay, I don’t feel the need to leave a negative review, because I think this hotel has potential. Once the crew gains more experience and all the promised features are in place, it will be a great place to stay. The lobby smells wonderful, the employees are genuinely kind, and the location is convenient — close to both the city center and the beach.

Rooms are nice albeit slightly on a smaller end of the scale. Automated courtains (double: privacy + blackout) are nice touch. Generally great service but two pain points: 1) I booked directly through Marriott and it seemed like I need to check in online otherwise i won't be able to get in the room. Not sure that's the case as receptionist was there when i arrived but it's very odd. One thing that tipped me off is the permissions for external service providers to collect biometric data and to send it to the US. Sorry but dodgy stuff - i'm booking a hotel room, not applying for passport. 2) Automation and digitization is great except when people stop thinking and that's what happened here. A guest receives access code to the lift and to the room. Both the same code. So when you're sharing a lift, the stranger has prime view of your room access code. I'm sorry but automation and digitization can't be an excuse for poor security risk. For that i have to take a star.
